Winterfest / Trees for Troops - Dec 12 (FS)

Join us in kicking off the holiday season at Winterfest, a Coastal Christmas Celebration at Club Stewart on Fri, Dec 12, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

This family-friendly holiday tree lighting will include lots of holiday activities like letters to Santa, delicious food and beverages and a charming holiday market! 

Enjoy music performed by the 3rd Infantry Division Band as Christmas carolers fill the air with melodious cheer, all leading up Santa Claus's arrival! 

Wrap up the evening by picking out a real tree to take home, for free. 

Event Timeline:

6:00 p.m. | Festivities start

7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Trees for Troops - E1-E4

8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. | Trees for Troops - Soldiers, Veterans and Retirees

A Very Festive Coloring Contest

Coloring sheets are available for pick up at the following locations: 

Fort Stewart:

  • Marne Lanes Bowling, Bldg. 402
  • Hays Library, Bldg. 411
  • Taylors Creek Golf Course, Bldg. 2150

Hunter Army Airfield:

  • Parent Central Services, Bldg. 1286
  • Hunter Golf Course, Bldg. 8205

To enter the coloring contest, bring your work of art to one of the Winterfest events at either Fort Stewart or Hunter. Coloring sheets will also be available at the event.

One entry per artist, please. 

  • Submissions will be categorized by ages: 
    • 3 - 5 
    • 6 - 9
    • 10 - 12
    • 13 - 15

Contest Rules: 

  • Use crayons, markers, colored pencils—your choice
  • No glitter, stickers, or 3D materials, please
  • Entries will be evaluated on creativity, effort, and presentation

Prizes include Spark Bowling passes and other festive surprises!
