- Foot Golf
Footgolf, an increasingly popular precision sport combining elements of soccer and golf, is coming, first to Hunter Golf Course and later to Taylors Creek Golf Course. It is played with the holes located away from the golf putting surfaces, allowing regular golf players and footgolf players to be on the course at the same time.
Players kick a No. 5 standard soccer ball into a 21-inch cup instead of the regulation 4 ¼-inch golf hole. Since a soccer ball doesn’t travel as far as a golf ball, holes on footgolf course usually are shorter than those used for golf. However, as in golf, there are bunkers, water hazards, trees and other hazards to be avoided. Footgolf rules largely correspond to the rules of golf and pars are typically 5 or below. The player with the fewest shots over the nine- or 18-hole course wins.
Category Cost Military, Retires & DoD Civilians $10 for 18 Holes Civilian Guest $12 for 18 Holes Under 17yrs Old $8 for 18 Holes Cart Rental $10 per person (2 people per cart) Ball Rental $3 per ball

- Customer Reviews
J Phillips, The fairways, tees and greens were cut very nice. The overall appearance of the course was great. My only complaint was the bunkers. Not enough sand.
C Russle, The course is in great shape. It looks the best I've seen it in years. There are a few bad greens and the fairwys are thin, but it looks amazing.
Glad to see the improvements made since Hurricane Irma. Course is in great shape! Worth coming back to instead of playing at alternative courses in the Savannah arae. Thanks!
L Groover, PGA Pro was a great instructor, very patient and full of information for novices like me!
Situated among sprawling Spanish Oaks and mature Georgia Pines, the 18-hole course is located in mid-town Savannah on Hunter Army Airfield. It offers surrounding civilian and military communities a convenient location for a quick game of golf played on beautiful greens with spacious fairways and teeing grounds. Access to Hunter Army Airfield is easy. Enter the installation through the Montgomery Street Gate, just off DeRenne Avenue. At the gate, simply show your driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration. A guard will direct you to the golf course.
