This two-day training provides CYS-registered teens with valuable life skills, including CPR and First Aid training, while preparing them to become responsible and confident babysitters. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an official certificate and will be eligible to be added to the CYS Babysitting Referral List at Parent Central Services - allowing them to offer babysitting services and earn extra money, and parents can feel reassured their babysitter knows what they're doing.

Get ready for a summer full of fun, learning, and connection at the Fort Stewart School Age Center’s Interconnections Through Fun Summer Camp! Designed for school-age youth, this program offers a variety of engaging activities that keep kids active, creative, and social all summer long.

Running May 26 through July 31, campers will enjoy exciting weekly field trips, swimming and splash pad days, hands-on science and cooking activities, water play, and so much more. It’s the perfect opportunity for kids to explore new interests, build friendships, and make lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Week 2 · June 1-5: Connecting Through Imagination | Movie at Blaze Theatre

Week 3 · June 8-12: Connecting Through Army | Oatland Wildlife Center & Fort McAllister

Week 4 · June 15-19: Connecting Through Superpowers | Corkan Recreation Center & Exhilarate Trampoline Park

Week 5 · June 22-26: Connecting Through Time | St. Simons Island Museum

Week 6 · June 29- July 3: Connecting Through Independence | Marne Lanes Bowling Center

Week 7 · July 6-10: Connecting Through Characters | Savannah Children's Museum

Week 8 · July 13-17: Connecting Through Sphere | Planetarium & Mighty Eight Air Force Museum

Week 9 · July 20-24: Connecting Through Fashion | Splash in the Boro

Week 10 · July 27-31: Connecting Through Space | Fangs Island
 

In addition to weekly field trips, campers will enjoy recurring specialty activities:

• Mondays · 1200-1500: Pool or Splash Pad at Fort Stewart
• Wednesdays · 1000-1100: Cooking or STEM at SAC
• Fridays · 1200-1400: Water Play at SAC

The camp operates Monday–Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM at Buildings 7160 and 5655, with special hours during training holidays (7 AM–4 PM) and closures on federal holidays.

Registration is open April 16 through May 15 and is completed through Parent Central Services. Fees are income-based and applied at the time of registration.
