Directions
Take exit 90 Fort Stewart west on Ga Hwy 144. Travel approx. 17 miles, take a left into Holbrook Recreation Area THEN follow the road down to stop sign. Outdoor Recreation Center, Bldg 8325, will be on your right.
Get off at Exit 76 to Midway; turn left on US Hwy 84 West; travel approx 15 miles to Flemington, where you will veer to the right onto old Sunbury road (go behind Parker's gas station). Travel approximately 3 miles to Hwy 144 & turn right on Hwy 144 East; travel approximately 2 miles and take right into Holbrook Recreation Area, which will be located on right. THEN follow the road down to stop sign. Outdoor Recreation Center, Bldg 8325 will be on your right.
Take Fort Stewart Exit 127 onto GA Hwy 67 toward Pembroke. Go through Pembroke, take GA Hwy 119 South toward Fort Stewart: Turn left onto GA Hwy 144 East; travel approximately 3 miles & take right into Holbrook Recreation Area, which will be located on right. THEN follow the road down to stop sign. Outdoor Recreation Center, Bldg 8325, will be on your right.

Holbrook Campground
Directions to the Campground:- The campground is located outside the Fort Stewart gates at Holbrook Pond on Hwy 144. After hours proceed straight to camp site and check in at the Outdoor Recreation Center Bldg. 8325 the following morning.
- Our campground is located near Holbrook Pond on Ft. Stewart, nestled among the towering Georgia pines.
- Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance with a one day deposit. Reservations can be made at the Outdoor Recreation Center.

For information on access, area availability and check in to hunting, fishing, bird watching, horseback riding, etc. visit isportsman.Individual must have a valid Fort Stewart pass to access training areas for ALL activities (including but not limited to hunting/fishing/camping/picnicking/nature watching). You may not leave Hwy 144 or Hwy 119 outside the cantonment area without a pass and logging into the automated system. The only exception is the Holbrook Pond Recreation Area off Hwy 144 East.

The fishing season is year-round in ponds and rivers with the prime bass, redbreast, and crappie in the spring of the year.You must have a current Georgia fishing license and Fort Stewart fishing permit. Visit Georgia Wildlife for current license information and registration.

Are you ready for a high energy competitive experience? This cat and mouse activity is lots of fun and great exercise. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced player, our fields will fit your needs. Come out to our paintball field for some team competition.Groups
Schedule a block of 4 hours of play. Minimum of 10 to reserve playing time. Several groups may be scheduled during the same time slot for play. Maximum per group is 50 players. Groups must be scheduled a minimum of 5 days in advance.Players must be at least 8 years of age. All players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. -

Access to the Rifle/Pistol/Archery Range on Fort Stewart is through the Outdoor Recreation Center. Patrons sign out a lane, pick up target and access pass, then proceed to the range. After completion of shooting event, they return their access pass and target to the Outdoor Recreation Center.

Safety RequirementsTo ensure a safe shooting environment, participants are required to have a second person on the range at all times, along with a POV which can be used in case of an emergency. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.Here's what you do:1) Visit the Outdoor Recreation Center with a buddy to pay and pick up targets2) Drive to the range & shootRange ClosuresDuring the year, the range may be closed to facilitate mandatory controlled burning in the B4 training area down range. Dates are determined by weather & wind conditions. Shooters are encouraged to contact the Outdoor Recreation Center at +1 (571) 801-4269 to confirm range hours of operation before venturing out to shoot. The range will always reopen as burning is completed for the posted day.Please check the above link to confirm your weapon fits the criteria. Weapons not listed will not be allowed on the range. You may request additional weapons be added, and these will be reviewed by the Installation Safety and Range Control Safety Offices. If approved, they will be added to the list. There are 6 shooting lanes w/shooting distances of 10 to 100 yards.Long Range Shoots (Open on scheduled dates that will be announced)
This range is at Red Cloud ECHO, Fort Stewart, 8272 Hwy 119 North. We will have paper targets at ranges of 100 meters to 500 meters and steel targets at 750 meters and 1,000 meters.-
Directions to Red Cloud ECHO Range from post:
Head north on Gulick rd. Leave post out of Miyamura gate (gate 5) and travel approximately 8.5 miles (Gulick turns into 119 GA Hwy). Red Cloud ECHO range is on your right past mile marker 31. There will be a brown sign. -
Directions to Red Cloud ECHO Range from Pembroke:
Head south on Main St. and travel approximately 10 miles (Main St turns into 119 GA Hwy). Red Cloud ECHO will be on your left. There will be a brown sign.
By Appointment OnlyRange keys may be checked out by certified individuals during normal operating hours at the Outdoor Recreation Center. Patrons must have completed the certification process through MWR before keys may be assigned. Please contact either office to schedule a class.(Note: Thanksgiving and Christmas Day closed).Location: The Fort Stewart Shooting Sports Ranges are located down the road on FS Rd 48 S., just past the Outdoor Recreation Center off of GA Hwy 144E. -

Dog Park
Take your pup to the park to play! The Outdoor Recreation Dog Park is located past ODR on the right before Holbrook Pond. The fenced-in area includes an agility course, water fountain, and bags to clean up after your doggie does their business!
