Lines of Effort (LOE)

#1 - Quality of Life

Encompasses those issues that Soldiers can influence to improve their morale, living environment, or personal growth and development.

#2 - Community Service

Community service is unpaid work performed by a person or group of people for the benefit and betterment of their community contributing to a cause that results in volunteerism credit. The BOSS program makes a meaningful impact by encouraging Soldiers to volunteer in local and distant community projects and events.

#3 - Life Skills

Encompass the abilities required for adaptive and positive behavior, as well as the psychosocial competencies that help Soldiers navigate the demands and challenges of life. This initiative equips Soldiers with essential skills for improving their well-being, enabling them to become active and productive members of the community while acquiring lifelong knowledge, skill sets, or certifications.

#4 - Recreation and Leisure

BOSS offers leisure activities and events that are geared towards the desires of the Single Soldiers on that installation. Commonly, these work in conjunction with the development or use of specific skills, from cultural knowledge to physical activities.
