CYS will offer Strong Beginnings, a new enrichment program specifically designed to get children ready for Kindergarten!
Strong Beginnings is a milestone-based program that will focus on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children ages 4-5 years old* before they enter Kindergarten. The program will also promote strategies that meet children's individual learning styles.
Strong Beginnings will start on August 19, 2024, and will be held from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Fort Stewart CDC 403.
Please note: Strong Beginnings will not be a typical childcare program but an intentional program geared to get children prepared for a school environment.
*Children must turn 4 years old before 1 September 2024. Strong Beginnings will follow the School Year 2024-2025 calendar. Wrap-around care including school-out days is available. Fees will be based on household income.
