CYS will offer Strong Beginnings, a new enrichment program specifically designed to get children ready for Kindergarten!

Strong Beginnings is a milestone-based program that will focus on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children ages 4-5 years old* before they enter Kindergarten. The program will also promote strategies that meet children's individual learning styles.

Strong Beginnings will be held from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Fort Stewart CDC 403.

Please note: Strong Beginnings will not be a typical childcare program but an intentional program geared to get children prepared for a school environment.

*Children must turn 4 years old before 1 September 2026. Strong Beginnings will follow the School Year 2026-2027 calendar. Wrap-around care including school-out days is available. Fees will be based on household income.

*Documents to bring with you

• Original Birth Certificate
• Social Security Card
• 3300 Form (90 days to bring it to PCS after registration)
