Read Across America
George P. Hays Library is celebrating "Read Across America" week, March 3-7! Join us every day starting at 10 a.m. for a special story time and activities.
- Monday - "If You Give a Dog a Donut" by Laura Numeroff, and the library will be giving out free mini donuts to while supplies last.
- Tuesday - "Llama Llama, Red Pajamas" by Anna Dewdney. Everyone (that includes you, mom/dad/caregivers!) is encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas.
- Wednesday - "I Am a Frog" by Mo Williams. Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite animals.
- Thursday - "Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses" by James Dean. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite pair of shades.
- Friday - "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?" by Dr. Seuss. This will conclude our Read Across America with a birthday party for Seuss. Everyone is encouraged to dress in red or blue!
