Hallstrom Lake offers two playgrounds, a fishing pier, and restrooms.
Georgia DNR and FS/HAAF Permits are required to fish at Hallstrom Lake.

Reservations are required for RV/Campground. To make reservations, please contact Hunter ODR.
At Lotts Island, you will find:
- Basketball & volleyball court
- Fishing pier & cleaning station (CLOSED)
- Playground
Primitive Camping
We have 5 Tenting Primitive Sites and 5 RV Primitive Sites
The campground is equipped with:
- Water
- Picnic table
$8 per night for primitive spaces.
$15 per night for RV spaces - water is provided.
Check-In
- During normal business hours at Bldg. 8453
- After hours of operation, you can go to your site and check in at Bldg. 8453 the following morning.
RV Camping
15 Full Hook Up Sites
The RV campground is equipped with:
- Grills
- Picnic tables
- Dump station
- Electric 30/50 AMP
- Water
- Sewage
$25 per night for Golden Age Access Pass "Seniors" or Seniors with "America the Beautiful" National Park Pass
$30 per night for Active Duty Soldiers, Retirees, DoW Civilians, and 100% Disabled Veterans
$700 per month
Check-In
- During hours of operation at Bldg. 8453
- After hours of operation, you can go to your site and check in at Bldg. 8454 the following morning.
Maximum stay is 30 days.

Access to the Rifle/Pistol/Archery Range on Fort Stewart and Hunter AAF is through the Outdoor Recreation Center. Patrons sign out a lane, pick up target and access pass, then proceed to the range. After completion of shooting event, they return their access pass and target to the Outdoor Recreation Center.
