America's Boating Course
Learn all things boating before hitting the water this summer!

Active Duty Soldiers join us as Outdoor Rec hosts a free one-day Recreational Boating Safety Course on Saturday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fort Stewart Low Country Adventure Center (FS Rd 48 S off Hwy 144, Bldg. 8325, Fort Stewart, GA).
This Coast Guard-approved course, taught by a certified instructor, covers essential recreational boating knowledge including boating laws, safety equipment, navigation basics, trailering, knots, and handling challenging water conditions. Participants who successfully complete the course will meet the requirements for a Georgia Boater Operator Certification approved by the Georgia DNR and NASBLA. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for registration.
*Coffee, soft drinks, water, and light snacks will be provided; participants are encouraged to bring lunch.
