Dr. Seuss's Birthday Bash

Join Hays Library in celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Week!

Every day, from February 28 to March 4 at 3:30 p.m., the library will be hosting special story times; full of crafts, activities, games, and prizes!

• Monday, February 28: Mr. Brown Monday - Wear brown and be ready to be loud! (Story: Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can you?)
• Tuesday, March 1: One Fish, Two Fish Tuesday - Wear red and/or blue! (Story: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish)
• Wednesday, March 2: Green Eggs and Wednesday - Dress in green! (Story: Green Eggs and Ham)
• Thursday, March 3: Thing 1 & Thing 2 Thursday - Dress like a Thing or join someone and dress like twins! (Story: The Cat in the Hat)
• Friday, March 4: Fox in Socks Friday - Wear your most fun, colorful, or outrageous socks! (Story: Fox in Socks)

On March 4, we'll also have cupcakes and gift bags for you! (You can come any time during open hours on March 4 to pick up a treat bag and cupcake).

Dr. Seuss Raffle

But wait, there's more... we'll also be having a raffle for a chance to win one of three Dr. Seuss gift baskets! Everyone is welcome to enter, although the gift baskets are geared towards children.

How to participate: 

• Come in person at Hay Library - 5 entries
• Watch story time at Hays Library's Facebook page - 1 entries

The winners will be announced on Monday, March 7.
