America's Boating Course

Savannah’s unit of the US Power Squadron is offering its top-rated ABC (America’s Boating Course) boater education session exclusively to Active Duty soldiers for a one-day boating course!

Interested in learning about all things boating? Join Savannah's unit of the U.S. Power Squadron for America's Boating Course on Saturday, October 12, 8AM-4PM. This course will be held at the White Bluff Presbyterian Church in the Joy Classroom, address 10710 White Bluff Road, Savannah, GA. 

This one-day class features a Coast Guard approved course with a certified instructor that will teach you the basics of safe recreational boating, state and national boating laws, proper equipment, navigation, dealing with adverse conditions, trailering, knots, and more. Participants of all experience are welcome; whether you're a novice or in need of a refresher. 

Those who successfully complete the course will meet the education requirements for a Boater Operator Certification, approved by the Georgia DNR and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). 

Please note that this course is free and available Active Duty Soldiers only. There are limited spaces, and registration is required.
