Currents of Time

Step back in time and explore the historic Fort McAllister State Park in this duo kayaking excursion and guided historical tour. This immersive full-day experience combines coastal paddling with a rich history lesson led by an expert park ranger. Participants will enjoy a live musket firing demonstration to make the historical experience even more thrilling. The registration fee covers everything you will need for the day, including round-trip transportation, kayak rental, and the guided tour. Transportation is provided from Fort Stewart's Outdoor Recreation Center. 

This is a family friendly event and children ages 6 and on are more than welcome to join us but any child under 16 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Space is highly limited, and pre-registration is required to secure your spot. You can either contact your local Outdoor Recreation office or register with the link provided.
