America's Boating Course

Join us as Outdoor Rec hosts a free one-day Recreational Boating Safety Course on Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the White Bluff Presbyterian Church Education Building (10710 White Bluff Rd., Savannah, GA).

Taught by a certified instructor and approved by the U.S. Coast Guard, this course covers boating safety fundamentals including state and national laws, required equipment, navigation, trailering, knots, and operating in adverse conditions.

Participants who successfully complete the course will meet the education requirements for a Georgia Boater Operator Certification approved by the Georgia DNR and NASBLA. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for registration.

*Coffee, soft drinks, water, and light snacks will be provided; participants are encouraged to bring lunch.
